Mungaria is the name of a wet mill, known as a coffee factory in Kenya, used by the Aguthi Farmers Cooperative Society, over 1000 smallholder farmers in the county of Nyeri growing coffee above 1600 meters in the southwestern foothills of Mt. Kenya. The farms are smaller than an acres in size and half of the member farmers are women, still a high ratio for Kenya, though recognition of women as leaders in coffee production is steadily increasing.
